I thought about this thread this morning...I was rushing out the door and my car was covered with ice and I was, of course, late...
I called back to Jon over my shoulder, "Dammit. I can't win for losing."
He replied, "Um. Is that a Texas thing? I've never heard that in my life."
I said I didn't think so, but then he asked me what it meant and I had NO IDEA.
