    Yum, yum! It was all very tasty! Excellent beef stew and delicious syrup sponge and custard She can make that dinner again whenever she wants

    Oh, and Dawn's voice has almost completley gone now... just a croaky whisper... she keeps on talking though!

    Maybe could be soggy cake, but is certainly not how it would be described here! :D Sort of a warm sponge cake, with golden syrup on top. Tends to be wuite light, as opposed to puds like spotted dick (which is amazing and a huge part of my childhood!) which is made with suet, which is a bit heavier. Custard is a compulsary addition to any of these marvellous culinary items, which also include jam roly-poly! :D

    Sausages in yorkshire pud...if sausages are baked in there it's Toad in the Hole. If the pud is baked alone and the sausages are placed in there afterwards it is simply sausages in yorkshire pudding!

    Oh, yes!!!! Custard..you make it a certain way, and leave it to cool for a very short while (though it's still hot if that makes sense) and a skin-like layer starts to form on top. You either love it or ya hate it Tink! :D
