    Well we don't get to do stuff like that very often. The last two days have been awesome for family time so I just let him go for it. We use organic, free range eggs so I'm not concerned on that point. :D

    yeah we use the same, risk of salmonella is negligible now anyway. Caitlin and i licked the bowl and spoons for the syrup sponge- i think it's better than the actual finished article.
