Freezing isn't the half of it! It's truly cold, and for a protracted period of time (unbroken hours). That wreaks total havoc on the farming industry with the citrus, strawberries (it's now strawberry season) and the like. Not a good thing at all.

I'd tell ya'll to send warming pixie dust but you're colder than we are!

I was originally going to go to FL this weekend but couldn't get the room I wanted. Thank goodness I booked for March! Although on vacation would be better than being at work right now!

Well mom my leaves this afternoon for Orlando...

And its still much warmer there than it is here....

And what the enemy will see? They will see the flash of our cannons, and they will hear the ringing of our swords, and they will know what we can do! By the sweat of our brow and the strength of our backs and the courage in our hearts! Gentlemen, hoist the colors!

February is the month for the strawberry festival here, Helly. Not that the strawberries taste nice, mind. They look pretty but truly have no real flavor. Same with tomatoes grown in Florida (in the south in general).

I do far prefer tomatoes, berries, apples...from the north.

Looking at the 10-day forecast for Orlando it says 80 degrees for the middle of next week! Guess who's going on Sunday?
