    Yep. That'd be culinary school here. Some are very well known, Johnson Wales, French Culinary Institute, Culinary Institute of America (affectionately known as the CIA :D ) are just three that come to mind. Many more though.

    Lovely!

    I attended a seminar that was being held at a technical high school a number of years ago and the culinary students prepared box lunches for us! It was really cool--much nicer than the typical box lunch. :)

    It's an interesting option for those who don't have the interest or financial ability to go to university or a culinary school, and teaches what they need to learn to obtain and retain jobs in the hospitality/food industry. And they award two full scholarships to a local culinary school to graduating seniors each year. A nice little incentive. :)
