I'm still in bed taking it easy but as i'm hungry i will have to get up.

I feel like i'm pulling a sickie as i have no pain at all.Just tender areas when i move and dizziness when i do too much.

As there are no physical outward signs that i have had anything done it is hard for the kids to accept that i can't run around after them.
Jack hasn't left my side since i came home and Robyn has been the opposite and there seems to be a huge gap between us.She is just spending all her time out with friends or on the phone/msn pretty much as she was before.I feel really sad as we are usually so close.

Glad to hear you are home and feeling much better. A little concerned though, are you allowed a bath . Always been told to wait between 7 to 10 days for a shower with Beth and district nurse then says she can have a bath once stitches are out and wound looks good. Not sure if you had kye hole surgery or the old fasion way. If key hole then i am not sure on the waiting time for beths. I am sure the hospital told you. Just worried for you hun

Thanks Michelle i was having a shower at the hospital on the second day after the op.

I had keyhole so 2 tiny stitches in my pubic area and no other external ones.

The nurse told me they were dissolvable ones but one fell out last night and it was like a piece of string!

When I had keyhole surgery my stitches fell out rather than dissolve - the doctor had to pull one which I was dreading but I didn't feel a thing.
