You've seen this place before - Wetlands and Wildfowl Trust in Arundel - but we went again today as we like it there so much.

Random photos of birds, boy and signs of spring.

    Hot chocklit break

    Random birds

Some bizarre thing named a Potty Headed Bird by Steven.

Now you and I both know this is a female pheasant but the boy insists it's a Great Tit.

    Bit of a rest

    Exploring the wildlife garden

Strangely coloured duck - I think it's an Eider Duck but don't quote me on that.

Steven officially paid 5 (of my money) to adopt Dormouse House number 93. The catch was you got to decorate and build it yourself.

    The finished article.

We'll be checking on Steven's mouse house throughout the year. And one day I will get to see the elusive kingfisher - there are several on the site apparently - just never when I'm about. :(

They do a little boat ride around the reed beds which is nice because it's so quiet up that end. You normally only see ducks and stuff but the last time we went the guide said that the boat before us had an excellent view of a kingfisher but it was gone by the time we got there.

We'll be back again at Easter though to see the ducklings. :D

Is the duck in the first picture really orange or was it just the way the light hit it?

I love all of the pictures! I just love ducks and geese.

The dormhouse is very cool. Money well spent!
