    cheese stops up humans...unless they have an intolerance to lactose ...but cats and dogs...it's like giving them a good dose of fiber...keeps everything moving right along...and helps to get it that way when it's not.

    Adding a few drops of olive oil or vegetable oil to the food will help, and if you give her some Tuna that is packed in oil, this will help too. My friend had the same problem and it worked a treat- he heard about the cheese but wasn't too sure whether to feed it 'cos of the fat content.

    Well we have been to the vets and she says she is the opposite seems like she is forcing to me . Oh well i will keep a close eye on her at least she was able to get her chip done.
    Wish cheese had the same affect on us humans then i could eat it all day
    sorry great lover of cheese but only get it as a treat.

    Haven't had this problem with my cats, but neither of them will eat cheese so I doubt I could use that method even if they had the problem.

    in that case, potatoes and rice, prefferrably cooked to an almost soupy state work to slow that down for both cats and dogs.
