I used to be enchanted with the thought that it would be cool to be the seventh daughter of the seventh daughter... no real reason why, or any real remembrance of where the idea first surfaced...

My friend had an unlucky Friday yesterday :(

Her 98 yearold Dad passed away - not too unexpected at that age and a blessing for him really, but still sad all the same.

Funny, I just remembered it was a Friday 13th when my Pop passed away.

OK - starting a movement to ban them now!
Next trip - Bali! (March 2015)

Like Mama's family. She had 16 living brothers and sisters. I've forgotten how many died at birth, I believe her Mother had 21 pregnancy of which at least two were sets of twins. :(

    Kazza.

Once, long ago (1983 to be exact) I loaned my van to my sister's boyfriend to go and pick her up. He ended up totaling it in an accident that he was found to be at fault which in turn resulted in my being sued. (The insurance company settled it, but still). It was April 13th 1983, a Friday.

Mostly though, I like the 13ths. I associate 13 with the number for women, but that's a long rambling theory better left to mighty CRAIC and the Guinness. :D

I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th! Too busy, I guess!

No matter how many times I wrote or typed the date, it just didn't register!
