It's a great device, if you can get one cheaply enough go for it. It's the only phone I've stuck with (and believe me, I've tried hundreds)Originally Posted by josh.p., post: 123503
I am the same as you with phones. Always switching and changing. With a bit of tinkering you can get them to record video now, too... Decisions decisions If you are serious about selling your 2g... could you PM me with a price?Originally Posted by Keith, post: 123505
I don't think you'll be disappointed.Originally Posted by britchick, post: 123517
Tom (... living in his 2G world)
You'd probably have to get the 2G model off eBay now. The current 3G model is all that's being sold by either Apple or the carriers anymore.Originally Posted by britchick, post: 123577
As far as unlimited wifi is concerned, that's always the case. The iPhone will use any wifi network in range that it can connect to (if you've got the appropriate credentials to access the wifi network). If there's no wifi, it will use the cellular network for it's internet connection. With the AT&T rate plan here in the states, the cellular internet connectivity is covered under a single monthly data charge.
The wifi is always free assuming there's a wifi network around that I can connect to.
Hope this isn't too confusing.
I'm not really awake yet.
