    No not me...DD!!

Robyn has been selected as a Student Leader(prefect in old money)and is now going to apply for the position of Head Girl

She has to write a letter explaining why she is a good candidate and produce a powerpoint presentation or short film about her interests and achievements.

We have made loads of notes but would like some imput from everyone as to how we could make this really special and different.

    Thank you.

What does a Head Girl do?

What is special about Robyn that would make her particularly good?

I'm a product of the US public school system from a gazillion years ago and we didn't have anything like this. Student leadership for us was designed more on corporate lines--student body or class president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, etc.

What does she do outside of school? Voluntary stuff or youth clubs or sports or stuff like that? She has to prove she's a good ambassador to represent the school basically.

And tell her to ditch that weird friend.

LOL you are right hun i never made it!

We have so far made list of all the things she has done for the school and what she has represented them for.
Luckily i have kept all certificates and photographs so we can put together a portfolio of achievement.

I think she is going to make a movie in movie maker showing photos of things she has done and a few words of explanation finished off by a short video clip of her at the end.
DS will help with editing and transitions.

She mentioned most things in her application to be student leader so we need to make this really special.

All i managed at junior school was house captain and prefect in senior school.Don't remember us actually having head pupils then though.

I just hope me working at the school doesn't give her a disadvantage!

There is a lot of tough competition this year as so many of the girls want to do it!

Depends how many are prepared to spend their Easter holiday preparing for it and how many will get their application in by the 20th April deadline.
