    Do they really? I didn't know that. I don't tend to use them too much since I seem to make a mess with them.

    Ducky, make sure you take something for the headaches cause that's what your going to get if your addicted to the caffeine. I didn't have any problems giving it up but it's the sugar that I like

    I've largely managed to switch from proper pepsi/coke to diet but to be honest, I hate it so I THINK now would be the time I could switch fully to water.

    Everyone in the office keeps saying "youre drinking too much water" and that's with one a one litre bottle!

    Yep! What Tink said! :)

    Plus more water if the weather is warm/hot and you perspire more than usual. I learned that the hard way! Don't recommend it to anyone!

    Your body (think liver) has to work much harder to process other beverages. Water helps keep things moving along with less processing.

    I need to drink less coffee - but it tastes nice.

    I rarely drink soda but if I do I have the regular stuff - at least you know where you stand with sugar. Except in the US don't they use something icky instead of proper standard sugar as sweetener?

    Apparently HFCS is cheaper and easier to add. The plus side for food manufactorers is that it makes us want to eat more so they sell more product. We then get bad health and fat which makes industries like healthcare and diet centers prosper.

    Hmmm.....it all boils down to money, doesn't it?

    So if I go to WDW and order a Coke it's full of HFCS and a Diet Coke is full of aspartame.

    Are there any sodas that just use sugar as a sweetener in the US?
