First of many photo threads - we have 2 weeks off school for Easter. Shout if you want me to stop.

Yesterday I took the boy to this place.

    http://www.wealddown.co.uk/

Best thing about this place....the doggle is allowed to come and play too.

    Started on the woodland walk.

    View from the top.

Charge a fortune for these in the garden centre. Growing wild all over here.

Pulling a light sabre pose by the charcoal camp. They were making charcoal in these.

Workers making a house frame in the wood yard.

    Boy with tiny wooden crib.

And peering out the window of a 400 year old house.

This is a 600 year old medieval cottage. Two rooms, no toilet or bathroom and definitely no internet.

Goodwood stately home in the distance. No idea how old this one is.

    Cows

Study this carefully, I'll be testing you later.

Boy with large horse. They have a team of horses here that they use in traditional farming methods. One was out ploughing a field why we were there.

    Boy at window of house.

Aforementioned house and pretty veggie garden.

    Doggie lunch.

    Boy lunch.

Boy in 17th century house. With 17th century fire extinguisher.

    19th century school house.

Boy doing brick rubbing in the brick works. Still getting the dust out of my ears.

Lead casting next. This one's for MystikPiglit.

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

    Boy playing on worn millstones.

Time for hot chocklit and shortbread.

    Where's mine?

And finally...if you ever wondered what happened to Charlie Chaplin at the end of the silent movie era...well he retired from the movies and apparently became a plumber.
