So, I have sold my camera that my ex bought (just wanted it out of my house), even though it was a fabulous camera. And with that, I have decided to purchase an entry level dslr.

With my budget I am looking at these two.

    http://www.amazon.com/Canon-10-1MP-D...9904995&sr=1-2

    http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Digital-...9905768&sr=1-1

    So which would be better?

Well, I'm definitely going with the Canon XS. Even found it $60 cheaper.

I'm so excited, this will be my first dslr.

Billie you are gonna love the Rebel...it is a great camera!

And what the enemy will see? They will see the flash of our cannons, and they will hear the ringing of our swords, and they will know what we can do! By the sweat of our brow and the strength of our backs and the courage in our hearts! Gentlemen, hoist the colors!

uh-oh...was doing some research and I kept reading about the dreaded error 99...anyone had problems like this with their canons. It seems that it's a problem with all their dslrs.

Maybe I should look at the Nikon d60 once again. I don't want to spend all that money and have problems.
