Thursday 16th part 2

We then headed over to Ballyheally Beach which has a random boulder plonked in the sea, and the boys collected some cool stones/rocks. On the way back we stppoed at a village called Wellington Bridge for ice creams which were eaten by the river, and then again for pick and mix sweets at the shop in Killinick which is where Bill and Ann live.

The boys went off on their traditional 'collecting golf balls' trip with Bill after which we had a lovely roast dinner and sat in the garden room with the woodburner going.

Oooo, yeah! Sheesh, I sure am needy!

I just read the next installment and I read too quickly as I thought you had typed that you guys had gotten ice cream and then were eaten by the river. What can I say, I have been writing about bulimia all morning for a class.

Such a pretty rocks and that boulder out there is very cool!

the owner - they even put them over the plant pots.......wonder where they got them all from, it might be right above the beach but i'm sure they couldn't have found that many on the sand - mind you, they've been doing it for over 20 yrs i think!

when you going, i'll let 'em know

    Friday 17th<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

More rain and another morning spent pottering after which we did a bit of shopping then went to the sand dunes at Curracloe.

The boys enjoyed messing around here as much as they did last year, getting covered from head to toe in sand and bringing piles of the stuff back home in their shoes and pockets!

Back at the house they waded in the stream and played football, then we all had a Chinese take out for dinner.

they'd dug holes to lay their heads in so we couldn't see them! I said we should send DH a text and tell him there were 2 headless bodies on the sand dunes!
