    Tink...very good idea about the glasses.

    I was glad that the first funeral I attend was of a distant relative, as it prepared me better for those that followed.

    I'm just attempting to make 5 books containing her poems for her 3 sisters and 2 of her daughters, my MIL being the 3rd who has the original book.

    I was hoping to be able to copy the pages as they are so it's her handwriting but i just can't do it well enough to fit in the covers. I tried to scan and the pages came out absolutely massive and I couldn't resize....so now I will have to type out each one instead.

    My MIL says that's fine and they'll like it however it is. I suppose that'll be neater and more like a book. I could maybe just put a couple of decorative scrolls on the pages, tastefully of course.

    What the heck, i may as well do one for MIL as well, and I'll make one each for the boys and DH too.

    Will be thinking of you all hun.

    Been a long time (thankfully) since i attended a funeral but i can still remember when i was asked to read at my Nan's funeral.I held it together really well until i caught my Mum's eye.Tears in my eyes now as i write.

    well it's all in little book so the copier lid doesn't shut properly and i get all the dark edges and it shows where the paper folds are and everything. I'll type it up, it'll be fine.
