Just bought an infra-red camera off eBay. I am hoping that I will be able to set up a live-webcam 'the Eggsfactor'' on my site so everyone can watch the tortoises hatching out in July.

It was only a very cheap webcam so I will have to see what the picture quality is like before I actually set it up.

As soon as it is 'live' I shall make you all aware so you can strap yourselves to your chairs LOL

Fab sat in my chair ready!

Do they usually hatch at night or just any time they feel like it?

I really don't know, I think it is usually during the day, however they are in a dark hole in the wild and in the dark incubator in captivity so not sure I will find out

If you pace you won't be paying enough attention to your computer screen!

Wow, count me in, I'd love to watch. Just let them know that they're not allowed to hatch while I'm at work.
