As people will know I have a Canon eso 400d, I have been looking at the underwaterhousing for it but I am a little put of, one because of the price and secondly I don't know if I would trust putting my camera under water.
I have seen a review in this months issue of digital photo that the canon photoshot d10 is really good. (Canon Powershot D10)

I have found it for about 240 but I would like some adivce for our experts.

how much is the housing for the 400d against the powershot as thats 235. if it says its waterproof then gets wet your insured against it being faulty try it with something in it first and see if it leaks to your mind at rest :)

oops was that 240 for the housing?

The plastic bag type housing is about 200 from what I have seen and the large plastic cases are really high priced, stopped looking at them as it would be cheap to go to Florida, LOL

I have found this site. Cameras Underwater Store

Here is a site for the big plastic housing. http://www.camerasunderwater.co.uk/i...r/eos400d.html

There is a fujifilm in Boots for only 140 that is waterproof to 3metres. The pics looks good too.
