Just read that your country lost 2 soldiers in Afganistan in the last couple days. I'm so sorry for your loss. If you know any military & their families, please send thanks & prayers or protection to them from the US.

    Thank you.

Right now I cannot imagine being related to a service man or woman. It seems like nearly every day lately we're hearing of another loss in Afghanistan.

    So sad...

I agree, it makes my heart ache to turn on the news and hear of yet another loss.

The saddest thing recently was the news coverage of the funerals of our last 2 WW1 heroes, followed immediately by reports of funerals of 18 year old lads killed in Afghanistan.

    When will this ever end?

It is all very sad. Every day we seem to be having more young men coming home to be buried. Its not right and i wonder when this will all end.

being a military wife, i have a great love & respect for soldiers & their families. but, i'm so sick of both the wars. its time for the soldiers to return to their families. my close friend just told me that her hubby leaves in November. she has 2 brothers going too.

Afghanistan is going to go down in history as our generation's Vietnam.
