We are going to Mickeys BBQ, and were thinking we could go a little early and spend sometime in FW

I believe there is a petting zoo and carriage rides? Can anyone confirm this?

    Thank you!!

I can't vouch for the petting zoo but I have seen carriage rides offered at night.

They did have a petting zoo just as you get off the bus at pioneer hall
I do believe it still there . I have never been to the barbecue But my
understanding is you need to go early to see the characters they are
    out before they serve dinner

We've only been to the BBQ once... you did have to arrive about 30minutes early, and we got to meet Chip & Dale before entering the dining hall...

The characters came out from time to time and Mickey and Minnie made the rounds to all the tables while other characters danced... I think...
