Mari, I believe it is 1 main course, 1 dessert, 1 soft drink. You can choose anything from the menu.

That is correct and that is why we have NEVER done and probably NEVER will do the dining plan. We RARELY eat desserts.

    thank you!!!

I guess we will be better off if we use the dining credits at the buffets, and pay cash for regular sit down meals!!

    :)

Toño loves dessert, but I usually prefer appetizers.... hahaha

MP is correct. You also have to pay the gratuity now.

I prefer appetizers to dessert as well. I wish they'd give you the option to choose between the two.

Probably and I figure desserts can be pre-made and are usually less time consuming.

Same here, but this time it's free. :D

I read a tip to order pastries or fruit and take it away with you to eat later.

I think that would only be feasible if you were going directly back to your room. Otherwise the heat and mechanics of carrying it around would make it go all "icky."

Yes, but I would think even that would be a bit problematic. It would get knocked around in the carrying, no? Of course, I'm dreadfully particular (Oh now THERE'S a shocker!!! ) about no bruises or squishy bits on my fruit so that's what I'm picturing... a battered bit of fruit! It could just as easily work out fine.

 I'm with you on that.
It's a handy tip for anyone with children though. It means the family doesn't have to stay in the restaurant too long and is a good way to get the children to sit for a short time later on. :D

You can always get a doggie bag as long as it's not a buffet. Of course, I have taken my an apple or banana from a buffet countless times.

    thats REALLY good to know!!

With Tatiana its just impossible to time meals, and even harder to know what she will find worth eating on a particular occasion

EXTRA picky eater.... have absolutly NO IDEA where she got it from..... both Toño and I have the opposite problem hahahahahaha
