honestly I wouldn't have a clue as to toast v bread all I know is I've never been there because it was always "that banana place" in my mind

does sound like I'm underestimating it though!

Not booked it so far :( I normally book it twice but I didn't like the menu at all to be honest

The "pineapple bread" is actually just a sweet bread offered before your meal - and if it helps, the tonga toast is no where to be seen at dinner :)

Jon and I enjoy going early and having a drink in the lounge before dinner.

That's a shame, we so enjoyed it in September.

it wasn't bad and tbh after seeing the layout on the Internet I thought it may be worse than it turned out to be. They did swap some bits around for us, which I worried they may not do but overall the food was good but didn't quite justify the money, the service a bit lacking and even the check in experience was a hassle (but that's a different story  )

Still, end of the day I managed to get a nice window table, ordered a nice bottle and sat there happy as anything watching the fireworks so it wasn't all bad

I will agree that service and check-in were a bit lacking, but it was hard not to enjoy the overall experience.

Oh bless your heart, that's tough! To be fair, I don't know that I could recommend it, then. Perhaps someone else who has motion sickness issues as well can offer more insight.

Flying Fish is a favourite with us and one we always stick with now. Kona Cafe for breakfast and dinner is the other that we do each time. The breakfasts are totally delicious. It used to be that you could wander in to Kona for breakfast but now the secret is out. In September it was heaving. Can I infest this thread with some photos for you Keith?

    YAY! Photos!

Jon is Flying Fish's biggest fan. Even beyond Disney dining, it's one of his favorite restaurants. For us, it's the whole package - service, atmosphere, and food. Have you ever considered doing the chef's table/counter there, Mags? I'm considering surprising Jon with it during our next visit.

I haven't Becca but a friend of mine has done it and is doing it again in May. It sounds wonderful. Will upload the photos later for sure as photobucket seems to be down and all the others I have uploaded here seem to be huge!!

Hmmmmm, onsite? You know? I don't have a recommendation. You know we love Cape May for both breakfast and dinner, but I don't think it's your type of dinner food?
