Well, it depends what you mean by partying!! Staying in the house but lots of pink champagne
Well that sounds perfect to me Deb
Just back from NYE at cirque du Soleil. It was a good night. The clowns have changed along with their performance and they are way better than the previous two. We have seen this show every year since 2002 and it never gets boring for us....it's our tradition.
We had no problem what so ever parking at DTD. we had a reservation for dinner at 6.30pm and there were plenty of spaces in the carpark.
Earlier in the day we went to the Loop for a few things then watched a movie there.... Into the Woods. It was terrible. We didn't even realise it was a musical until it started and it was so corny
but but but Anna Kendrick is in it!!!!! how could ANYTHING with her in it be awful!!!!!!?
I tell you, once Johnny Depp started to sing I couldn't believe I was sitting there when the parks were minutes away!
Note to self: Avoid Into the Woods.
we didn't get anywhere yesterday as Dave was ill.
Today we are at MK. Lovely day again.
Some folk!! We have been stood on this spot to take photos of the 3.30pm parade for a full hour. A family of five have just asked if they can stand in front of us as they have never seen the parade before.
What would you have said?
situation right now....the dragon's wings won't go down so they can't get it through the gateway. Poor Pinnochio on the float behind is still having to flap his arms and legs....he/she must be shattered
It never fails to amaze me how people have the guts to ask that! Years ago I'd have awkwardly said yes and stood behind them steaming, now I'll politely say sorry but we've been waiting here for ages so I'm afraid not.
About to have dinner
Wishes really got to me tonight!
I had quite a few silent tears!
Maybe I'm just getting old!
Aw, I get like that The worst for me is that I cry at the MK opening ceremony and that is awful as it is in broad daylight
Vacation brain, I guess?!
My stock response is that I'm happy for the kids to stand in front of me, but the adults would ruin the view I've been staking out for hours.
We would make a dreadful pair......but they are happy tears.
