Although I like yachtsmans i promise you that the bull and bear is in a different class altogether.
Much nicer weather today, eh Keith. Your kind of day! Low to mid 70s with a lovely breeze and sunshine. You were lucky yesterday with the rain. It was a huge storm here, so much so that we had to take the pool water down twice to prevent it overflowing.
So then, tell us! Which is the better steak, Waldorf Astoria or Bern's?
Oh my...that looks fantastic. Really lovely.
It just goes to show how expensive eating on site at WDW is by comparison....taking account of the more up market dining experience eh?
yeah pretty great for me today
yesterday we were out in the car and there was an emergency tornado warning for several areas on the emergency broadcast thing that breaks into the radio programming. The sky went incredibly dark really quickly and cars were pulling over to wait it out I guess. I love storms so I just got the camera out (I didn't whatsapp you that because I knew you'd just shout at me)
We talked at length about that. Both the steak and the salmon, the sides, everything was another notch up at the Waldorf.
I love Berns (other than the reservation system). I love the easy drive there, the weird little dining rooms and the dessert room upstairs. The food is really great and a great price.
*HOWEVER* yeah, I can't avoid saying it, Waldorf Astoria was better all round
That's SO true it wasn't much different in price from le cellier and the difference in quality, well, chalk and cheese
You too, huh?!?!
Yeah I checked out the rooms and they're awesome
That is very nice to know, Keith. Thanks!
Fork and dine wAtching Godzilla
Was it scary? I used to root for Godzilla as he would beat King Kong (I was terrified of Kong!) but this Godzilla looks scary
Godzilla is a goodie again no Godzuki though
That dine-in theatre is hilarious - they serve the drippiest, ooziest food and bring you only a couple of napkins.
Last time I ate there, an enchilada splat my new white top and I didn't notice, being so stuck into the movie. When I left, I noticed it and it had already soaked though. I had no jacket to cover it, so just walked out looking like Rab C Nesbitt!
oopsy - squished
oh thats going to have a nice effect on the traffic!
Sad I know, but I think that I know where that photo was taken.
Is it on the road to the Poly/GF/Contemp.etc. just after you leave the entrance to the parking lot for the MK ?
The Fork & Dine looks quite cool. I wish we had something similar to it here at home! Hope you're still having a grand time!
We have a few of the dine in theaters here in our part of Virginia. The one that started it is a remodeled 1930's movie house. That is right in town. We have a small chain of Cinema and Draft houses that show second run movies, and we have a rather pricey one that has big leather chairs and super digital projection systems. They are a great place to see a movie.
That one in FL looks cool!
I am so out of it..Who is that? The only Nesbitt I know is Mrs. Nesbitt in Toy Story when Buzz is forced to drink Dejarling tea and wear a frumpy hat.
it is indeed
