As some of you know I have been collecting the US State quarters for ages and finally I now have the complete set  which will save me ages going through my small change every time I make a purchase.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the Orlando area that I can buy a display unit or map for them as I would like to mount them and hang them on the wall of my "den"? [I`ve done a search on the Michaels and Joanne`s sites to no avail. :sorry:]

Catrancher kindly posted a link to a site that would mail them but that only applies to US addresses. I would have had one mailed to our property managers and collected it from them when we are over there but I`ve left it a bit late now.

Herself got some from Books A Million I think.

(Is it too late to have them sent my our address? That way we can hold them for you or send them along to you or whatever)?

That`s very kind of you to offer it to be sent to you Tink :hug2:, but if you think that those places you mentioned do stock them, then probably that would be my best option as at least I could see what I`m buying!

I know there is a Barnes & Noble at Winter Park, but whereabouts are Books a Million and Borders? [Those are new names to me!]

Here are the listings for Borders and Books A Million in the general area here, Slowhand. There are no Hobby Lobbys nearby. There is one in Ocala, and I know there are some in the south east (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami etc) but none in our general area. Hope this helps!

It's much easier to decide when you see the items.

I know Herself has some very dignified navy blue "books" that hold the quarters in the series by the years.

She also has one HUGE red one that is a map inside where the quarters are held.

All a matter of taste and preference eh? She's putting some together for children in the familly. Our Seth, Max... ect.

They don't know it of course, but we're hoping that when the years have passed, they'll be happy to have a commemorative of the quarters.

Now. You do know that there are cool new nickels too, right? :D :D :D

    In the FWIW department.

Most of these folios and books come from Whitman Publishing.

Their website shows quite a few varying items for collecting and presenting state quarters or any other US coin you can think of. Folios, maps, books, etc. They even offer online ordering for their products.

Probably not the only vendor for this type of stuff but from what I've heard, the largest.

Tom :)macwave:... numismatics for fun and profit. Mostly profit!)

I did know about that Tink, but I wish that you hadn`t reminded me!
It was doing my head in getting hold of my remaining few state quarters and couldn`t bear doing the whole thing again with the nickels!

Ahh... But do you have all 100 quarters?

    100 seez you? Yes.

You see the state quarters were all struck at two different US Mints. Each Mint striking a full set. You really need them from both the Denver Mint as well as the Philadelphia Mint.

    Tom :)macwave:... troublemaker!)

Yeah each quarter has a D or a P struck on it somewhere to indicate which mint it came from and each state has a quarter struck from both mints so there are 100 quarters in total.

I completely gave up at about 30. :thud:
