Apple has released iOS4.3... I think it's slightly early but to get the update, sync your iPhone if it is a 3gs or upwards  Shame it won't work on the 3g version.

I installed as soon as I got home yesterday. Nothing to blow the doors off in this incremental update. Only thing I noticed was a slight performance boost to Safari.

When I went to enable that feature, it told me to call a number at AT&T as that feature costs money. I was curious but it's something I won't likely need.

I can't even find the settings to start it! Airplay is pretty cool, though.

It does annoy me though. We've already paid for the data plans for the iphone, so tethering should be free as long as all we use is whats included in the data plan.

Thing is, they earn billions from selling us minutes/data which we dont use up and they simply dont want us using up what we've paid for.

Whilst it annoys me.. if I was in charge of making those sorts of decisions, I think I'd totally make the same one as them  It's all about the money for big companies like that. I do wonder if future plans will include tethering as standard, though.
