Any one had any first hand experience of it. The website says you wait in a 'designated ' area. Any idea how this works in practice?

Also does this work at seaworld? I know this is the WDW forum but figured if someone made use of it they may know. Desperate for Kraken :)

We've never done it, but have learned from those who have that the parent with the child waits at the end of the ride (CMs take them to the designated place). The parent who rides first, then meets the waiting parent and child, and takes the baby while the waiting parent then rides.

Don't know how Sea World or Universal do it, but perhaps they have a similar set up.

We've done this a lot! At no point did we wait in a designated area. We would go to the ride entrance and ask for a parent swap pass. We had to have the child with us. We'd then be given a paper pass - like the old FP.
One of us would ride the ride, then the other would use the pass at some other point in the day.

Good to know, Vikki! They've clearly changed up the process. Not sure if it's as convenient as the old way, but at least it's supportive of parents riding.

I've never known them to have waiting areas, maybe that's because we never asked. They've been doing the paper pass for at least 6 years.

Yes, that's within the fast past range. Good info! Then again, maybe they still do the waiting area method, but you've not used it?

We used it years ago, much in the manner Vikki described. Very convenient, and Andrew was chuffed because it meant he was able to ride each ride twice!
