I dont know if many people try Charleys. Doesnt seem to be as popular as others but we've really enjoyed it in past years.

We normally go to the one on us192 opposite celebration but to be honest, the last few times have been a bit hit and miss :/ so we were wondering if anyone had tried the International drive location?

 :hug2: actually you sent me off on an interesting chase! I went and read about the OBT one. Apparently that was their first steakhouse in the area and at the time it was considered rather posh however that area of the OBT now apparently has a bit of a bad reputation. So they simply couldnt persuade people to come and spend traditional charleys prices to dine there.

Rather than shut it down, they've remodelled it into a less expensive charleys "grill" whatever that means. Actually the menu looks ok and they say the prices are lower because of smaller portion sizes rather the reduced quality.

    interesting!

Ah, see I knew the OBT one wasn't Charley's steakhouse any longer, but I didn't realize they'd redone it to a grill. Good info.

It must be a pretty big Grill!

The one on OBT is where you used to be able to get your birthday dinner free. We went one year for Herself's birthday.

ironically, when I was asking about the other locations, I was hoping to try their "original location" but alas, not to be. I wouldn't have discovered it without you telling me to try the closed one though ;-0

I think I'll give the i-drive one a try

I know I'm running before I can walk, but we could have a section for off site dining places as well and you can write a review on Charleys

I think more and more of us are dining off-site so that section is definitely important to have
