Has opened at Downtown Disney looked at the menus quite expensive
yeah I have a reservation for May so I'll give it a good try and report back
Thanks Keith you can let me know how it is looking for something special for my last night at Disney
I've seen a couple of reports/photostreams here and there - the one that has stuck with me most is the $30 lobster roll. Now, I am FAR from a connoisseur of lobstahhhhh, but the amount of mayo included in said $30 lobster roll did NOT make me want to rush out and throw my wallet open -
And there is no chance in HELL I'm getting in one of those cute little aquacars, NOPE, NU-UHHH, NO WAY. But I'd be tickled to watch one go across the water with someone else in them
Reserving judgement, but pretty skeptical...
come on, we'll get one together, I'll let you drive
There is not enough FANTASY in all of Disney World to bring make that happen.
Shame, too, because the cars really *are* adorable.
Ok, wait, I'll make you a deal...you go to 50's Prime Time Cafe with me, and I'll go aquacar driving with you
We are trying to decide whether to try this as our OOP restaurant this time. We love the look of it, and the food, though yes it is indeed pricey. One of the main things for us is that it has outdoor tables, and we can usually forgive many things for that, as for some reason the fact that tourists may want to eat outside in the beautiful weather on their holiday seems to have mostly passed Disney by. They aren't taking reservations for when we are there though, just walk-ups only, so that may stop us trying it, but maybe we will email the manager and ask if we can book anyway.
Oh, and for the record, Becca you are a total wuss I would LOVE to try one of those cars! Just they are a tad pricey too.
really? have you tried opentable to book with? They said they werent booking anything for our trip but the dates were on opentable all fine
One of those amphicars was bought from Gas Monkey Garage. I saw it on an episode of Fast n' Loud - the buyer was buying vehicles for a forthcoming attraction in Orlando.
Am I missing something here. What are these Amphicars of which you speak?
I haven't Keith, as I had heard from someone who had been at the preview that Opentable bookings were only for after the 15th. Didn't check though
Here you go!
Damn straight I am, and I'll be right here on dry land admitting it!!! LOL
Seriously, though if we let Keith drive, I'll ride shotgun, then you and Mr. Deb can cuddle up in the backseat...that'll be the price split three ways...that's almost affordable!
