    Morning all,

We have ordered Hive from British Gas, as we had a special deal and for what it can offer we felt it was a good deal.

It will be installed this Friday but meanwhile I was wondering if anyone here have one and any hint or tips?

You know, I don't know what a Hive is! Other than some thing bees ad wasps live in, and the shape of centuries old dwellings, I've never learned about anything else. Is it a cook stove or some type of heater? Educate me! :D

Well that certainly looks interesting! At least what I can see of it using my phone. I'm in Tallahassee, so not using my laptop. I like theidea of controlling through your mobile!

Aye us too! I think America have something similar but called Nest (https://nest.com/thermostat/life-with-nest-thermostat/) which meant to be coming to UK.

We like to be able to turn the heating off if we come home later than expected. Especially we don't have to worry if we have turn the heating off or not.

Will do a report once it is up an running if anyone is interested.

bad bad experience with British Gas, would not use them again after they blocked us for months from leaving for a cheaper rate!

ok now I'm definitely confused. So you're not on british gas but you're just buying hive? I thought it was something they were kinda doing as a tempter to stick with them for gas. Didnt realise you could just buy it
