I read that you can trade in 2 table service meals per person for a candle light dinner. Does anyone have anymore information on this? Which restaurant it is through? Menu options? How do I reserve?

If you are talking about the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package all of the restaurants in EPCOT participate. I don't know if all of them require 2 credits though as we never use the dining package.

We've never been to the processional, can you only get it from the dining plan?

you can book online or over the phone with Disney direct.

Daniel, if you are talking for your trip in 305 days i don't think that will be when the candlelight processional is on. That's why I thought you meant the sweetheart dinner, you couldn't use the dining plan for that package :)

It definitely was not the candlelight processional haha, probably just one of my many, daily Disney dreams.

You do not have to book a dinner to see the Candlelight Processional. Booking a dinner guarantees you a seat and you normally don't have to stand in a long line. There is a line that tends to get very long for those who do not book a dinner package but it is not a guaranteed seat.

You can also do SRO. That gets about 10 people deep though, so unless you get there early and stand right along the roped fenced area, you had better be a tall person! :D

I'd never heard of the "Sweetheart Dining Package" - so I did some research.

The Disney Sweetheart Dinner for Two

Includes a 3 course meal at a Signature Dining Restaurant. The meal includes an appetizer, entrée and a special, shared dessert. You’ll also enjoy a pre-selected beverage in 2 commemorative etched champagne flutes which are yours to keep following your meal.

The Sweetheart Dinner for 2 is available at Citricos, Narcoossee’s, California Grill, Jiko, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, Artist Point, and Hollywood Brown Derby.

Pricing (from what I've found) is $150 for all participating Signature Dining locations except California Grill; $170 at California Grill. Tax and Gratuity are extra.

This sounds like such fun!! I may look into this for Jon and I on our next trip - though I do enjoy choosing from a menu, so we'll have to see. From what I read (or more accurately, didn't read) I don't think you can use dining plan credits for this experience.
