The huge balloon that will be carrying guests up to 400ft above Downtown Disney is now inflated on the waterside dock. The ride is expected to fully open on April 1st 2009

At $16 for adults and $10 for children (3-9) the price isn't too bad either!

Can't wait to do this. I have always fancied going up in a balloon. DH is refusing to go, but DD's want to do it with me - yippee xx

Does it stay tethered then? Cos if it does I would do it.. if not forget it. I don't want to be landing in a crocodile infested swamp swimming for my life :(

Mmmm we were gonna do both this year.

Perhaps we should do ST at SW first and see if we need to do the balloon.

I love the SkyTower at SW  As it rotates you are forever looking to spot things like Aquatica, Epcot ball, Discovery Cove etc. It's even fun just seeing Shamu Stadium from the air.
