Citricos for me! I have eaten there twice and loved it both times, I hated California Grill and haven't been to Narcooses although I love the location of it!

California Grill for me! Tried citrico's once and it was rubbish :( Although I've heard good things about it, when we went, the service was poor, the food tasteless and the whole thing rather noisy and rushed. We're in no hurry to go back.

Narcoosees CAN be brilliant or can be dire :( far too variable to trust and some truly awful staff there.

California Grill has the location above all else so although the service is sometimes mediocre, watching the fireworks with a nice glass of champagne can't be beaten :)

We really must get back to Narcoossee's one of these days. My preferences, in order are: Citrico's, California Grill, Narcoossee's.

Nothing on the Citrico's Menu has ever appealed much to us. :sorry:

You know my thoughts on the other two. :(

You want a nice meal? Go to Big Fin in Dr. Phillips. We discovered it recently (although it's not all that new) and had a beautiful New Year's Eve dinner there. It's pricey (but no more so than Disney) with impeccable service and excellent food.

I say kona cafe, love the menu, we went twice this time and servers were great and food delicious. Not bad value for table service, I'm happy to pay $40 for lunch for 2. I think it was my favourite this time, but then I don't really do formal dining on holiday.

Totally agree with Keith. We've been to Citricos once, for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was OK but didn't really enjoy it much. Whenever we've been celebrating before they've made a big fuss and even though we had a nice 'happy anniversary' written on our menu that was about all. The service was not great and wasn't too keen on the food either.

Whereas we went to California grill for our 5th anniversary and it was wonderful. They made a huge fuss of us. The service was outstanding and the food was second to none. Am quite disappointed its not open when we go this year as I would have loved to have gone back.

Mari, have you tried the Blue Zoo?
We have never had a bad meal there and it also has more of an adult feel to it.

I didn't have high hopes for it, but actually we've had several great meals there.

Blue Zoo is on my list of places to go. When we visited Citrico's last year they gave us champagne before dinner and a dessert after to celebrate our anniversary. There were couples on each side of us also celebrating an anniversary.

Yep, it is located in the Swan/Dolphin complex.
Children are allowed, and each time we have been there we noticed some children were dining with their parents.
It is more suited for the older/well behaved children though as it is not the sort of place where you expect to see out of control kids running around the place,

BlueZoo got its name from Todd English's son.

It's a bit dark in there, Mari but really neat. They try to replicate being under the ocean and they do a pretty good job of it.

As long as children stay seated it will be fine. (But that holds true for any restaurant).

I have a relative who allows her son (he's now 13!!!) to wander around the table, and to other tables (that are set, but have no people). The child touches the other settings, gets in the way of the servers, etc. I don't dine with them because of this. I will say at least now with being 13 he does sit (albeit desultorily) at the table!

I dont let mine wander around, but you just never know if its a long meal, how long they will stay calm.

I understand how you dont dine with them Tink, it woul make me feel uncomfortable to be out with a teenager behaving that way!
