Has anyone in the UK done a coach trip to disney paris? how bad or good was it? A friend has suggested it but it sounds like it would be awful to me

I did, although I don't really want to own upto it

It was a long long long long day in cramped conditions. It was very cheap indeed, stupidly cheap in fact and a bit of an adventure I guess. If you're going with a few friends, I could see it being a lot of fun! in fact, having typed this, thats the key I think. If you can make the journey part of the fun, then go for it.

Otherwise, hop on an easyjet flight and get there faster and not that much more expensively

Friends of ours did it and we flew. They hated it and were exhausted. They left the night before we flew home and we were still home before them.

I have to agree with Keith. We have just come back and got EasyJet flights at a really good price :)

Did it a couple of years ago as a last minute cheapie - the kids were 7 and 4 which I was worried about as they were quite young but they were fine. I don't mind travelling on coaches though and I did most of Europe by coach when I was a student. We only got one day in the park and then one day 'sightseeing'. It is a lot of travelling though for not a lot of time there.

I have never done DLP by coach but when I lived in leicester we did a 'weekend' in Paris by coach for £100 each great value but you couldn't pay me to go by coach again. We left at 4am Friday morning and didn't get to Paris until 6pm Friday evening. We left Paris at 11am Sunday morning and didn't get back until 12 midnight.
The upside of this was that it was Valentine Weekend and Wes proposed to me at the top of the Eiffel tower so for that alone it was worth it!!!
Try and fly if you can, unless you don't mind the coach!

I think the flights are on sale now Lisa we just got ours for £64 each, maybe you could try a smaller airport than LHR or LGW? I know the big ones are closer for you but we saved lots of pennies doing it that way when we went to Spain. Mind you it's not so bad driving for you 'southerners' is it?!!
Good luck that'll be 2 disney trips in about 4 months lucky girl!

I think we are going to go as a group, and we may well drive, it would have to be a fairly quick trip as DH will run out of holiday pretty quickly next year. Easter weekend would be good because of the BH's but I can only imagine how busy it will be! :rolleyes008:
    That's a great price you got

Thanks everyone, this place is the best! I asked on another forum and no one even bothered answering. We've checked the flight prices and are going to go with that instead
