    Sandra Bullock (hard to believe this is not only her first Oscar, but also her first nomination) won Best Actress and Jeff Bridges Best Actor.

    No, you aren't. We never watch it. Haven't really done so since I was a kid. My parents weren't into it either.

    I do remember when Marlon Brando sent a "pretend" Native American woman to accept/refuse the Oscar... that was really weird...

    We don't watch enough movies to really know who the actors are most of the time. :shrug:

    I can't remember the last time I watched the Oscars. And we're with you Tink, we probably only see 1-2 movies/year. Not even sure we would know what most of them are about if it weren't for the adverts, and since we record a LOT of stuff we don't see too many of them either as we fast forward through them.
