Sure. We'll plan it for the middle Saturday of our trip.
Yum yum. They look very good!
thank you Mags - they were delicious while still warm yesterday, i had another today and it was still so light and fresh but boy, were those cranberries sharp!
Ribs and cookies. There is something a bit magic about that combination.
We have a huge grill, and August is definitely warm enough to swim!
mmmm those cookies sound delish!
Excellent - the boy does love a pool.
Well he'll have a grand time then. It's a small pool, but deep enough for a bit of a swim.
Stop by Mairead's house and get some of those cranberry cakes, willya'?
Mairead those look scrummy. Tink herself sounds quite the cook. I love a soft cookie but mine are never soft enough. What's the secret.
You'll excuse me here a sec, Siobhan while I wipe the WATER OFF MYSELF!!!! Sheesh, Brit!!! Climb up on that float and rest a bit, willya'?
Herself is the cookie baker. (And delicate things maker). She'll tell you it's the Crisco (although some of the cookies do have only butter, or a mix of butter and Crisco) that makes them soft and keeps them soft. Butter makes for a thin and crispy cookie.
Now Brit. Have at it again... just BE CAREFUL!!!!
another rita please Tink
Here you go Baby. Pomegranite ok?
oh yes a good dose of antioxidants at the same time, hic
Always need to dance on the side of good health. (I think I spelled pomegranite wrong).
who cares, too many ritas hic
OOOOOOOOOOOH...am I missing a pool party?!!?
i was just breaking in the waitress Becca
She is indeed!
Missing? Why no! You've arrived, eh? So now the party can really get started.
Oh no it can't! I am not here yet!!
Those cakes look scrummy. I love cranberries but not the juice.. it has a dry feeling to it that puts me off!
Also... tink... what on earth is crisco? I love soft cookies and I think I'll be making some cheesecake and cookies at the weekend (who knows, I might put the cookies IN the cheesecake.. or maybe not) and I want really soft cookies.
Also... how do you make a *nice* sauce for a cheesecake?
