Disney Cruise Line has introduced a new child tax for children under 5 for all sailings to the Bahamas.

The new tax came into force on the 20th July for any 2014 sailing with a Bahamian port of call and this will include Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.

A spokesperson from Disney Cruise line has said that it willl not affect existing 2014 reservations booked before the 20th July 2013.

There is no more information as to why the addition of this tax has been introduced.
