Ive heard about this but never seen it. Is it true that first thing in the morning they do some sort of special opening show??

Can anyone go? is it just a matter of being there at the right time?

Do all the parks do one?

There is a little show where mickey arrives in the train and one family is chosen to help with it but anyone can watch as long as you are there. Animal kingdom used to do one but from what I read a few weeks ago that had stopped. Hollywood studios do something small but no where bears good as MK. I am hoping to get to it this trip with the kids :)

I don't recall ever seeing this, and there was a time (though not recently) when we were at the park very early in the morning....

Hmmmmm, I may have to try this in September :)

It is before you go through the arch into the park. After bag check when you look up :)

i have seen it several times.... it is really cute...big crowds usually waiting for the rope to drop and start the mad dash.... if you go in for EMH or a breakfast ressie you miss it since you are already in the park.....all the little kids really get into it.....some of us big kids too

We did manage to be there at EPCOT for opening, and they do a little "thing." Nothing major like this, but a welcome message, a song, and lots of that string confetti stuff :D

I love the MK opening ceremony for some reason! We usually see it on our first morning of the holiday as we are are up way too early with the time zone difference, and at MK before opening time. It always without fail, makes my eyes leak, and I always feel a bit silly for that and keep my sunglasses on
