Ed Fouche, who is one of Disney’s prominent executives in Florida is set to retire in January 2014.

The senior vice president of travel industry sales for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, announced his departure last week. Fouche leads travel-industry sales for Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, as well as global sales for Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Aulani, the company's two-year-old hotel and time share in Hawaii.

Fouche, who has been with Disney for nearly 25 years, is one of the company's most visible executives in Florida. He has twice been chairman of the board of directors for the state-marketing agency Visit Florida, where he still serves on the board of directors. And he is a member of the board of advisors for the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality management, among many other appointments.
