My other half has got a new job today which we are both very chuffed about.

However, their holiday periods is April to April meaning she cannot book her holiday for next sept/oct until April.

IF we booked a hotel and tickets to take advantage of the free dining promotion, what kind of cancellation policies are there?

Are they flexible in changing your dates and/or hotel without charge?

We could wait until April to book but I suspect we won't get as good deal in terms of the dining etc.

    Any thoughts?

Perhaps get her to speak to her new employer to see if she can provisionally book the dates you want and to then apply for those dates officially in April.
I would think that her employer would be ok with that - besides first come first served :)
Plus there is no harm in asking.

Also we postponed our trip from last October to this. We booked with virgin holidays and they moved the deposit over to the new holiday so we didn't loose anything.
Are you booking direct or through a company like virgin holidays?

You may have to pay a fee for each element of holiday changed, I don't tend to use travel agents for a full package so not sure how much that is. If the free dining is not on when you go to book you could always try booking through the US site as theirs comes out nearer to the date.

Yes sorry Oreo we did get charged by virgin when we changed. I think it was just an admin fee of about £35 per person.
