it has so much history ! wasn't a fan of the 'under new management ' when it came in but I understand why it was done.
To read all about where it was built and that it spent time in a parking lot to showcase animatronics and that Walt was so heavily involved with it.
Yes its not the flashest but its Disney history , in the same way CoP is. YOu have to have something for us nerds to enjoy ;)

Meh...I didn't do the best job explaining it either, my apologies :) I think we've all got the hang of it now!

I'm also a tweener. It is not a MUST do but I've done it far more than once. It also provides for a nice break on a very hot day.

A....and I agree they should mix up the songs much like they mix up your experience on Star Tours.

    Late to the party! Sorry.
I am with Chris on this, like the classic one, disliked the updated one. I guess we hit is more than miss it, and not to duck heat or rain. We like to go out near the drums outside the TR and make faces like the masks. Then hit the TR for fun...Applause...Applause!

PS. On RaRC - love it

C for me, but mainly because I'm angry with it. Here's the story:

I had a trip to LA and then Orlando, so I was hitting the Disney parks on each coast. I've never been in the Tiki Room, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to try the old and new versions. I saw the original at Disneyland and came out thinking, 'wow, I can see why they changed it, that was dull!'.

So, hesitantly, I queued for the ride at WDW waiting to see it under new management. As soon as it started, the penny dropped and I, mouth agape, began frantically searching for the exit - they had reverted to the original version, so I had to sit through the same thing twice. Grrrr....

That was a wonderful trip - my phone creeped me out a little though, it played every one of my California-related songs while I was in California!

It did feel a little like that!

It even managed to synchronise the Chilli Peppers' lyric 'cruisin down the 101' WHILE I was one the 101!!

    Ok, next up...The Haunted Mansion!

    A) Do it all the time! (Wouldn't miss it, it's always on our list!)
    B) Done it once! (Don't feel the need to do it again. I've checked it off my list, I'll let everyone else enjoy it!)
    C) Do away with it altogether! (Overhaul it or raze it, but we need something FRESH in this space! Optional: Feel free to share you vision if you'd like.)
    D) I've never done it! (Optional: Tell us WHY you give it a miss each time.)
