We always take one case each when we go to Florida but to be honest, if we really thought about it, one between the two of us would be fine.

    I so overpack!!

I know when I am putting some clothes into the case that there is very little chance of me wearing them. I tend to favour maybe three outfits and just keep wearing those. You know, the outfits that you feel most comfy in. (Can I just add here that our clothes do get washed after each wear!!!)

So, the majority of my clothing comes back to sunny England unworn.

    constant argument here

I know exactly what I need, enough clothes for over half the stay then we'll wash those and start again. Simples.

However, DW seems to want to pack enough for every possible eventuality and backups for the backups. Which means I pack less than half of one case and then we end up with two full cases and no space to bring anything back.

I keep saying look it's America, if you DO find something you're missing, we'll buy it there! but nope.

We don't wash if we are only doing Disney. But if we are going to spend time with MIL then we'll use hers.

 That is what I do too! Before going I always think I'll wear new or fancy stuff but when there I'm usually so hot that I just wear the comfy things.

Although we have an owners closet in our villa where we store a load of clothes, nevertheless we always end up taking 2 suitcases each whenever we go out !
In theory we could manage with just hand luggage on our trips but that ain`t gonna happen!

Just hand luggage............that would be Heaven!
We can almost not pack/unpack (although we do ) I never wear shorts or cami tops in the UK so my holiday clothes last me a few trips.

I try to take a maximum of four outfits with me each time I go. The villa has laundry facilities, so there's little point in packing much more. My suitcase always feels 'rattly' on the way there!

I am determined to do a cabin-luggage only trip soon... Maybe next year?

I pack really light as well, I wear two pairs of shoes, don't need anymore. Crocs for parks and around pool and villa and some light sandals for evening. That's it for footwear. I do buy footwear to bring back. I even take one cossie, I've got no one to impress and if they aren't impressed by me now then I couldn't care less lol. I don't even take a hairdryer and rarely use theirs. I wear some smelly and take a tiny makeup bag, which won't have mascara nor lippy.

I'm a bit OCD when it comes to packing for the holiday. We have a tshirt each per day. Two swim shorts each (in case the other is wet), day shorts and evening shorts, smart shirts for the nicer restaurants. It goes on and on.
Every time I try and cut the amount we take down. Never happens. And no way am I spending time on our holiday doing laundry. Uh uh no ta.

I take way too much! Usually for the kids though, but that's because I buy them way too much cute holiday stuff ;-) it'll be interesting when we just go for a week in October because there's really going to be no point in taking as much as I usually do.

I take what we need, as I wash when I am over there. We take 2 cases and split the clothes in half between both cases just in case one goes missing. The cases are both normally full to over full when we come home though with towels, linen, and clothes

We take 4 days worth of clothes each and two pairs of footwear so there's a spare pair when one pair get soaked. Stay in a villa and use the laundry facilities, it's no problem to chuck a load in on a quick wash at the end of the day. We usually take two half full bags between 3 of us and come home with 3 full bags.

 too right Tony, stayed at Wendy's house and for years later I thought her surname was "Travelodge" cos all her towels had the monogram...

(I may not be back for a while after she reads this  )
