    I think you can see it at the lower left side of your post...below your signature opposite the post # and the Like and Reply button.

    Is there not an "Edit" script in blue at the bottom of your signature?

    Nope. There's 'report' on the left and 'reply' on the right. I did find a couple of my posts that had 'edit' on but not all......... electrickery doesn't like me... :lol:

    It's probably time based? ie. you may be able to edit your posts for x minutes after you've made them but then not after that? would that make sense?

    :lol: well it's that way for a reason you see. Sometimes accounts get hacked and malicious people go in and delete all the posts that person has made. It leaves a hole in the middle of thousands of conversations and really wrecks things.

    So it's designed only to allow quick modifications to something you've just posted to try and protect against that kind of problem

    I did wonder why I could edit sometimes and sometimes not.
    I think you can edit until someone replies either that or it's time based

    You can edit for 20 minutes which allows members to put something right or add something else if they need to.

    We had exactly the same system over on the old forums.
