Universal Studios Florida has revealed the prices for "Express Passes" for 2012's Halloween Horror Nights events, which kick off on September 21.

The passes enable guests to skip the regular lines for the haunted houses and scare zones at the events, as well as a variety of other major attractions. They can be used once per attraction, per guest, and can only be used after 6.30pm. A limited number of Express Passes are available for each event night.

Queue-jumping at the popular Halloween Horror Nights celebrations comes at a significant price. On the quietest nights, an Express Pass will set visitors back $39.99 per person. On the busiest nights, though, the cost shoots up to some $89.99.

The full Express Pass price list for Halloween Horror Nights 2012 is given below:

    • $39.99 - September 21, 27, 30, October 17, 24, 31
    • $59.99 - September 22, 28, October 4, 7, 11, 28
    • $69.99 - September 29, October 14, 18, 21, 25, 26
    • $79.99 - October 5, 12, 19, 27
    • $89.99 - October 6, 13, 20

Express Pass holders must also purchase an entry ticket for Halloween Horror Nights, with a variety of options available. These are detailed on the official Halloween Horror Nights website.

During Halloween Horror Nights, areas of Universal Studios Florida are dressed up as "haunted houses" and "scare zones". Fans of the House of Horrors attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood will know what to expect, with real actors mingled in with the guests to create genuinely unpredictable scares.

This years event is set to feature haunted inspired by smash-hit TV series The Walking Dead, video game franchise Silent Hill and rocker Alice Cooper.
