I have just been into my Disney Experience account to make an ADR.
It said.....You may begin making FastPass+ selections for your vacation on June 2, 2014.
So, it looks like I can make FP selections way in advance before we go on holiday with my annual pass and don't have to wait until we are at the park. We are staying offsite.

I'm pretty sure I've been able to make mine for May for months now :/ I dont know if it's because my annual pass was added to my disney experience in December or what.

To be honest, we dont normally use fastpasses anyway but it does seem to be available you're right

    (also staying offsite)

ok when I now go into it it has a 60 day window for fastpass+ so I cant actually make any for may at the moment though I can make some for feb/mar/apr when I'm not there :p

I also noticed that theres a fastpass+ option for wishes. Apparently they are now blocking off the rose garden path to the public and this is where the reserved area is for fastpass+.

I think I remember hearing on a podcast that they were allowing FP+ booking for passholders immediately.

You'll be limited to having seven days of FPs at any one time, on a rolling basis.
