What are your two favorite apps? Could be anything (games, business, productivity, health, etc).

I'm new to the whole app thing, but I personally love White Noise. I have the regular version for my iMac and the pro version for my iPad. I love to listen to different sounds. these sound authentic too.

For game type things, it's probably Sudoku in it's various incarnations.

    Others? Probably Tapatalk.

    That's todays list anyway.

BTW - thanks for the white noise recommendation. I popped for that on my iPhone.

    Tom :)macwave:... calming nicely!)

I also use the weather app.

White noise is fantastic. Normally you can get sounds like this but they have music behind them. I like just the sounds.

Pinterest. I am absolutely addicted to it.

    Facebook of course

Games: words with friends, scramble free and draw something

Ocean Waves. It has screen shots and wonderfully soothing ocean sounds

They also have a bunch of iCounselor apps. Depression, anger, OCD, eating, etc. They are 99 cents each but can be very helpful with clients. I've used them with clients on their jobs especially.

Just got back from a week long NASA sponsored workshop on the effects of dust (primarily African dust) on global climate change. Anyway we were issued iPads for the workshop to produce vodcasts for NASA Edge. We spent a part of each day sharing apps that were useful or just cool. I thought these were awesome:

Starwalk - great astronomy app for viewing all cool things in space.
Papers by Fifty Three - really cool notbook thing that you can write notes in with a series of pens and brushes. You can add water color like washes to make things look cool

Wish I had my iPad here to remember some of the other ones.

    Got this one.

And you're right, this is the coolest astronomy app I've ever seen. Love the way it conforms to the direction you're looking in so you can actually tell what's in your immediate field of view.

I've seen this one but haven't popped for it yet. I'm still a bit torn on what kind of notebook type of app I'd want to use. It's a bit too graphical in nature for me though. For me, ideally I'd like something that has a Mac counterpart that can share document with. Haven't found that yet.

Tom :)macwave:... there's an app for that!)

I have only had my Droid X2 since December and have not been huge on the Apps yet but I constantly use my fantasy baseball and football apps.
