We have known for some time that the Festival of the Lion King show at Disney's Animal Kingdom is to close and that a brand new theater is currently under construction.

Disney have now announced that the existing show will close on the 5th January 2014 and will remain closed for approximately 6 months. This is bound to cause a lot of upset amongst Guests who were hoping that the existing location would remain open whilst the new theater was created.

Yes it's going to return Jeff. The rumours are that it will be better than before as the building is being built especially for the show.
