It seems like we took an extended break in Morocco

The next stop on our trip around World Showcase is France, do you stop here and what do you like to do?

We love Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie and stop here every time for their quiche and strawberry tarts.

So all that's left to say is "Bonjour et bienvenue à la France"

    You and me both, Keith!

I've stopped at the bakery in France, but that's about it.

We don't like France or French food so we only visit if I need to buy Shalimar from the perfume shop.

We love the restaurant here. It's got a French flair but isn't overly French......the downstairs anyway.
I also love taking photos of the fountains in the front.

It`s become something of a ritual for us at lunchtime.
I normally get some fish & chips from the UK section and grab a table while my DW gets something from the bakers in "France".
We also enjoy the upstairs restaurant in France for dinner....can`t remember the name now it has changed! ;)

I've never had the fish at the UK. Since the outdoor booth doesn't serve the fish we'd usually have in the UK, I'm worried I'd be disappointed.

J'aime la France!!! We love everything about this country, with the exception of the perfume shop, as we are both allergic to scents. I like the atmosphere, seeing Aurora, seeing Marie, the little live acts, the bakery, the little shop... we used to love, love, love the downstairs cafe. Like the upstairs, it's fallen off over the years, so it's not as much a priority as it once was. I feel some odd kinship here, may be the influence of growing up with my grandfather? I don't know. Herself just told me last week she'd easily move to France and live in the French countryside!

We met two younger men :D :D on St. Martin's when visiting there. They had a little shop, Epicerie Marie... where they sold lovely French food items. The one who spoke nearly perfect English told us he'd worked in France in EPCOT! We had a grand old chat.

I LOVE, well we LOVE their escargot during the Food and Wine festival. :D Yep! Vive La France!!

The fish is not too different from what we get here in the UK, after all is is supposed to be Harry Ramsdens and staffed by UK`ers.
Like most food items at WDW it is a tad pricey though compared with back home....oh and it doesn`t taste the same now that it can`t be wrapped in newspaper.

True. The thing is, we live near Grimsby so are used to the best fish and chips, nothing could live up to that ;-)
