Fantasmic at Disney's Hollywood Studios now has the Glow with the Show Ears that flash and light up in time with the music.

The ear hats are $25 and I was just wondering if you would buy them to take part in the show.

My thought process leads to no. They are cool and I love watching the video of them, but $25 bucks per ear and 3 kids who will want them (and possibly a Daddy), means I would be spending $100 on them. I just don't think I would do it, but I will have to let you know after I'm face to face with them :)

It sounds like the people that went to the first showing of Fantasmic were given free hats as the show was being filmed by Disney.

Yikes. Pricey stuff. What happens when you go home? Do they at least light up so you can use them for reading in bed or something? :D

Jordan and I walked into DHS last Wednesday and bought 2 pairs of ears from the first vendor we saw. lol Pretty much begged Marcus to let me go to Disney last week just to buy them. They are very cool. They have an on/off switch and they will glow and change colors/patterns even away from Disney. Once at Fantasmic, at the start of the show, the ears all turn off and then they glow/blink/change color to match what is going on with the show. Was really awesome.

On Saturday night, they also started working with Wishes. We didn't make it over there, but we heard it was a zoo. They were giving first 10,000 people free ears...heard they hit capacity and were only letting in APs. Then we were at MK last night and we forgot our ears in the room and we were on Haunted Mansion when Wishes started (lost track of time) so we didn't even get to see what they looked like. :( Will definitely take them back with us next December.

I like the interaction. That's really cool. But I don't know that if actually buy the ears. Maybe if they were in a headband form
