I'd do it too! If that's all you can manage then that's better than not going at all

Most Americans are lucky if they can manage 7 to 10 days at WDW--we usually don't have as much vacation time as in the UK.

I've visited WDW twice for 7 nights and enjoyed it. It's a different kind of visit. When we visited in 2003, it was my first visit in 22 years and Leu's first visit to WDW--ever! It was a bit frenetic for us, since it was a new experience. The other time was in March, 2007 on a solo visit. I have visited WDW several times since that 2003 visit with Leu, so this was a more leisurely visit with specific goals.

With current airfare, I'm not sure I would visit WDW for less than 10 nights--it just isn't cost effective for me. But if cost isn't an issue and you have the time to do it--go for it! :)

Well we've driven about 12 hours to get there on a Thursday night and leaving to drive 12 hours back on a Monday so I guess that could be equivalent to flying all that way for a week so I'd say yes :p015:

If it was an 'extra' trip and wouldn't impact financially or time wise on being able to go again for longer, then I would, if it meant that I would have to wait longer for a longer trip then no I wouldn't. :)

I would plan to focus on only a couple of things if I were to be there for just one week. I'd go into the holiday knowing that I wasn't going to have time to do everything I really wanted, so I'd carefully plan what it was I wanted from this particular holiday.

I'd have some park time, of course a nice meal or two, and then at least one day of enjoying the resort (presuming on site stay) or DTD.

I think a well planned week can be a great time!

Just remembered I've actually done this.

I had just finished my studies at Michigan and had a 30 day Amtrak pass. I worked my route so that my pass ended at Orlando and gave me 7 days before I flew back to Detroit to get my flight home.

Would I fly from the UK for a week? You know, I think I would.:D

Yes go for it hun, we did it the year 2000 we were there for Christmas and the Millenium, then some friends asked us to go out and meet them for Easter, so we could only manage a week but as the others have said 7 days at WDW is better than none, we were tired but then we always are when we get back ;)
